The Opportunity:
4 month work term – Start May 2023 – End Aug 2023
How You Will Contribute:

This cloud engineer role will report to our Manager of Cloud Operations.
Ciena’s Cloud Services org works with internal Ciena teams, helping them leverage cloud capable solutions focusing on efficient / scalable design.
You will contribute and work on a daily basis across Cloud services team, gaining experience in:
  • Cloud Design / Implementation
  • Multi Cloud exposure – AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Cloud Security and Governance
  • Cloud infrastructure as code – Python, CICD

The Must Haves:
  • Working towards completion of software engineering
  • Foundational knowledge of Cloud concepts and programming
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Python, Javascript
Assets:
  • Experience in Cloud Development and operations support
